Margot Hagenaars is al jarenlang actief scout en mocht als vrijwilliger namens de World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) naar de VN conferentie ‘Commission on the Status of Women’. Hier heeft ze namens Scouting meegepraat over meisjes en vrouwen.
